THE TAKEAWAY 2021-2023
The Takeaway was a daily, national radio show and podcast from WNYC, GBH, and PRX. It aired for 15 years on public radio stations across the country. Professor Melissa Harris-Perry served as The Takeaway’s final host and managing editor from 2021-2023.
During this time the Anna Julia Cooper Center partnered with The Takeaway for multiple audio and video events amplifying issues at the intersections of gender, race, and place.
